Groceries & Gas Our A-Frame cabin is tucked away in a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path location—perfectly positioned as one of the closest rentals to some of Zion National Park's most popular east-side trailheads (like Observation Point via East Mesa, Cable Mountain, and more). Stock up before you arrive! Fill your gas tank and grab groceries in advance, as amenities are limited nearby. A small convenience store, restaurant, and food truck are available at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, just a short drive away.

Parking & Access Parking is available right off the dirt road. From there, it's about a 300-foot walk to the cabin on slightly uneven, hilly terrain (with some uphill and downhill sections). Wear sturdy shoes and pack light if possible—it's a short but scenic stroll into your private retreat.

About the Cabin Step into an enchanting, convertible A-Frame cabin that feels truly magical. This cozy gem is fully off-grid, powered by solar energy stored in batteries. Power availability can vary depending on weather and cloud cover—think of it as part of the authentic wilderness experience. We recommend bringing portable chargers, headlamps, and a flexible mindset for those occasional low-power moments.

Wildlife & Bugs You're staying in true wilderness near Zion National Park, so expect wildlife visitors and occasional bugs. We never use chemical sprays or poisons on the property to protect the natural environment. While we thoroughly clean and inspect the cabin before every guest arrival to keep it as bug-free as possible, a few friendly critters might still make an appearance—it's all part of the adventure!

Altitude & Weather At approximately 6,500 feet elevation, the cabin enjoys cooler temperatures—often about 10°F (5–6°C) lower than down in Zion Canyon. Utah mountain weather can change quickly, so pack layers for both warm days and chilly evenings, no matter the season.
